Hello, does anybody know anything about hostels ELF or VESTA? Are they really far away from the center and how is the neighborhood, is it safe? How about the rooms, are they clean?

Hello Liviu,
Hostel Elf is located on the frontier between Prague 3 and Prague 1. It’s about 10-minute walk from the Main train station and 15-minute walk from Old Town Square. Hostel Vesta is about 500m closer to the centre. Even closer there are hostels Apple, Tyn, Imperial, Junior and Trevellers Hostel.
