I can recommend pension U Tri Houslicek which is right in the city centre near both main attractions Prague Castle and Charles Bridge.
They have 4 bed room, 2 bed apartments or double rooms.
If you do not plan to come to Prague immediately after New Year, I am sure you get price around 50 Euro per double room or 70 Euro per 4 bed room.
