Hello,

may i ask a question about the public transport in Prague? How long does it work on the New Year’s Eve? Is it possible getting back to the hotel (Prague 6) from the inner city? I am afraid they have shorter opening hours in this time. Thanks for your answer and congratulation to the Prague-spot, it is great and very useful!!!

Bye:

Public transport in Prague during the New Year’s Eve extend the operation.

So Metro normally operate until midnight but in New year it is open until 1:30. Interval of underground trains is about 20min from midnight till 1:30.

You can also use night trams which will operate like in Sunday night. So the interval is about 30 min and trams goes from midnight till 7:00.

I am sure you reach your hotel in Prague 6 easily by public transport.

I do not recommend to use taxi service in this day, the price will be horrible.

Enjoy your stay in Prague Viola.
