Goin to Prague at end of April (wencselas sq area)- where would you recommend in that area – Please ALL post as many replies, so I get fair Idea, nice one!!

Opatovicka 24, Prague 1

An extremely popular eatery south of Narodni Trida with a bustling front area, a slightly more chilled out back room, and a gallery downstairs. As it tends to be rather crowded during most of the day, service can be slow, but the menu’s exotic offerings are often worth the wait. The portions are adequate, but what makes this place a real winner is its interesting selection of creative and tasty vegetarian dishes.

This place is really good value, good Czech food in a very vibrant atmosphere. Waiters running around and beers are flowing.

Restaurant Mucha

The atmosphere of the restaurant will turn you back to the early 20’s of last century. Its interior is decorated with most famous posters from Alfons Mucha.

On the menu you will also find some meals that are prepared on the base of Madame Luise Papillard recipes, which was a French housekeeper of Alfons Mucha.
